LDRNY and WTC advocates enjoy Colors Co-operative Restaurant

LDRNY's Shirley Moy and Mikki Baloy attended a special dinner this week with New York New Visions, LCAN, and other partners at Colors restaurant this week. The majority of the staff at Colors are formely of the WTC's Windows on the World, and lost 73 colleagues when it was destroyed on September 11. The dinner was themed "A Bittersweet Celebration," and was an opportunity to see the restaurant and network with those who have been part of the rebuilding and advocacy efforts downtown. Said the NY Times, "Colors has an inspirational back story, a genesis in tragedy, an arc of resurrection."   And Mikki and Shirley can vouch for the amazing food!
