Training

LDRNY Training
From time to time, LDRNY supports and sponsors training for pastors, social workers, first responders, emergency staff, teachers, and others involved with disaster response. In the past, it has partnered with organizations such as the National Organization for Victim Assistance (NOVA) and the New York Community Action Network to provide crisis training.

LDRNY has been designated by the NYC Office of Emergency Management as a presenter of the Ready New York program. Executive Director John Scibilia is now making appointments with churches and schools to offer the one-hour preparedness presentation. For more information, or to arrange a time and date, contact Scibilia at John@LDRNY.org or call 866-864-1600.

Other training services are often available in the community.
