Faithful Response
Faithful Response is a partnership of Lutheran Disaster Response of New York and Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Rockville Centre providing compassionate care to those most affected by 9/11 and related events. The program was made possible by a September 11 recovery grant from the American Red Cross Liberty Disaster Relief Fund.
The World Trade Center Medical Monitoring Program
The World Trade Center Medical Monitoring Program provides free, confidential medical monitoring examinations to workers and volunteers who responded to the September 11th attacks in New York City. For the next five years, responders who participate in the program will receive comprehensive and confidential medical examinations at regular intervals. Sacred City and Garden of Forgiveness at Ground Zero

Feel the Music!
The World Foundation for Music and Healing designed this interactive music education program, featuring age appropriate workshops in percussion, singing, songwriting, jazz and a variety of concerts for children and teens who lost a parent or close family member on 9/11. NEW ArtAID
ArtAID has the vision of creating an arts organization that gives artists an opportunity to contribute their work to support charitable causes. Commissions normally taken by galleries and collectors go directly into fundraising programs and charities that most need the support. It is also intended to give artists a socially responsible means to make a living. NEW The Samaritans
The Samaritans of New York offer free emotional support to those impacted by 9/11, as well as training in crisis intervention and suicide awareness for those who work with impacted populations. Project Olive Re-Leaf
The Olive Leaf Wholeness Center offers free health and well-being services for those who resided south of Canal Street on 9/11. Very limited enrollment. Services include chiropractic, nutrition counseling, and reflexology. Contact the Center for more information.

The initiative aims to support children and their parents who lived south of Canal on 9/11, or were attending preschool in Lower Manhattan. Provides assessment, counseling, and referrals.

9/11 Mental HealthCare and Substance Abuse Program
Created by the September 11th Fund and the American Red Cross, and administered by the Mental Health Association of New York City, this program offers financial assistance with the cost of mental health and substance abuse treatment to those directly affected by the attacks, regardless of insurance or immigration status. Coverage is retroactive to 9/11/01.

1-800-LIFENET is the New York City area toll-free hotline for confidential crisis intervention, information, and referral for all mental health needs. LifeNet is staffed by mental health professionals and available to English, Spanish, and Asian language speakers 24 hours a day 7 days a week. LifeNet has the largest database of professionals—over 6000—specializing in mental health and substance abuse, crisis and support services in New York City. American Red Cross September 11 Recovery Program
The American Red Cross September 11 Recovery Program (SRP) has helped thousands of individuals and families throughout the world who were directly affected by the September 11 terrorist attacks. Red Cross continues to help those impacted regain their self-sufficiency. Ongoing assistance for families of the deceased, the injured, rescue and recovery personnel and affected residents includes assistance accessing mental health and health care services, health insurance, Family Support Services, family information and support sessions, and financial assistance. FPA Tri-State Area 9/11 Financial Planning Relief Services
The Financial Planning Association establishe the National Financial Planning Support Center for individuals, families, and businesses affected by 9/11. The financial advice is free and unbiased, and from certified experts in the field. FPA may be able to help with day-to-day budgets, credit card debt, refinancing,tax and insurance issues. The September 11 Fund This program closed in December 2004
The September 11th Fund was established the day of the terrorist attacks by The New York Community Trust and United Way of New York City to meet the immediate and long-term needs of victims, families and communities. Grants from the Fund enabled cash assistance, counseling and other services to the families of those who were killed, the injured and those displaced from their homes or jobs. The Fund also provided grants to affected small businesses and community organizations.
